Typically when we’re preparing to photograph a December wedding I’m making plans to do a lot of the images inside. Although I tell All of my brides that they are going outside no matter the weather -( honestly – I even love when it rains -see below for more evidence) we try to limit a bride’s exposure to the inclement elements (let’s face it – the groom is always dressed for it!). Well, we knew all of our best laid plans for indoor images were going right out my open windows as we drove to the hotel in 70 degree weather that day – and we couldn’t have been more excited for Kerri & Justin to get the images they dreamed of, without getting frosty!
Kerri’s winter white palate complimented by rich Navy was just perfection for this gorgeous day!
Kerri’s wedding day look created by the talented Crystal Razor!
Diane Gaudette Florals did a beautiful job capturing the winter feel with these bouquets
The Navy was the perfect pop and brought out the color of the river perfectly!
Time for the First Look! Seeing each other before the ceremony not only allowed Kerri & Justin to have outdoor photos with natural light, but they were also able to enjoy their Entire cocktail hour with their guests!!
I adore the way the look at each other!
This group was outstanding to work with!
Fun and beautiful! Makes our job so easy!
A few sprinkles peppered our portrait time… can you see them?
Never will I let a little rain go to waste! Thank goodness Steve doesn’t mind getting wet behind the bride and groom!!
Once the rain stopped we came back out for a few more gorgeous portraits on the grounds of The Waterview .
I always get the feeling that my clients are meant for each other. But these two have evidence to support that! Their parents have matching wedding photos in the same pose from their wedding day! Well… of course we had to keep with tradition and re-enact it!
A few more quiet moments before the I Dos…. Swoon.
I hated to do it – but I had to let these two go inside and get hitched!
It was such a perfect day I couldn’t resist sneaking them outside for just one more!
Congratulations Kerri & Justin! Steve and I were truly honored to be a part of your first day as Mr & Mrs!
